Chapter Scholarship Program

Each year, the NBMBAA Indianapolis Chapter and its corporate sponsors awards one (1) $1000 Undergraduate scholarship and two (2) $2000 Graduate scholarships to qualified African-American students.  The Graduate scholarships include a one-year membership to the NBMBAA.

Applications are distributed during September. Click here for an UNDERGRADUATE or Click here for GRADUATE scholarship application.  Directions:  1) Click link to launch application, (2) Enter data and complete applications, (3) Go to FILE, then chose SAVE AS and save application as follows YourLastName2010.pdf, (4) Email saved pdf to scholarship@nbmbaa-indy.org.

If you are having trouble completing the PDF form, please send an email to scholarship@nbmbaa-indy.org to request a word version of the document.

The submission deadline is October 31st of each year.

Finalists are notified and interviewed by the scholarship committee in November.  Recipients are required to attend a networking breakfast with the corporate sponsor and NBMBAA Indianapolis Leadership Team in December where they will be recognized for their academic scholarship.

The Leaders of Tomorrow® Program (LOT) is an internationally recognized program under the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) umbrella.  Its mission is to serve as mentors and resources to minority high school students, improve student academic and leadership skills, and increase their ability to enter and excel once in college.

We achieve our mission by focusing on 5 key knowledge areas: 
Leadership, Communication, Financial Literacy, College Planning, Career Exploration
   
The LOT Program operates September through May offering:

Workshops, Community Service, Social Events, National Events

LOT Golf Outing

The NBMBAA Indianapolis Chapter hosts an annual golf outing to raise funds to support the Leaders of Tomorrow® Program.  This event is held each August at a prime location in the Indianapolis community.  Open to the public, this is a great way to donate to the educational future of our youth.
