NBMBAA - Indianapolis Chapter

Message from Our President

Welcome to the new National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) Indianapolis Chapter website. As we live through the economic crisis here in the United States and throughout the world, the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) is here to provide you with encouragement, motivation, and access to valuable resources that fall under the following fundamental categories: education, career, leadership, entrepreneurship, and lifestyle.

We have all been impacted and some of us have even been severely devastated by home foreclosures, stock market investment plummets, business closings, and job losses. However, we are committed to foster HOPE, promise, and opportunity for a better tomorrow. As President Obama promised to lead our country out of the tremendous issues we face today, he also challenged each of us individually to do our part. We must embrace that challenge and take responsibility for our current and future state of affairs. When asked during attendance at the University of Pittsburgh, Katz Graduate School of Business, "What do you want to do with your MBA after you graduate?" I responded, "Give back to the community."

Over the past 18 years I have passionately pursued the vision and mission of our organization and I challenge you as members, educators, entrepreneurs, and corporate partners to sign up today for the annual conference, renew your membership, or become a member for the first time and let's make a difference in our community, across the nation, and across the globe. Together we can continue to grow this organization focusing on economic and educational development initiatives that support the global African American community.
