Indianapolis Chapter - Scholarship
The Indianapolis Chapter of the National Black MBA Association, Inc. (NBMBAA) is proud to announce its 2008 Scholarship programs. This year the NBMBAA Indianapolis Chapter and corporate sponsors will be awarding two $2,000 graduate scholarships with a one-year membership to the NBMBAA to qualified African American students. The purpose of the scholarships is to provide talented African American students with support while pursuing collegiate degrees.
NBMBAA Graduate Scholarship
Eligibility
1. Applicants must be African American students, enrolled in a full-time accredited
college or university graduate business or management program. This includes
current undergraduate seniors who have been accepted for admission to graduate
school.
2. Applicants must be Indiana residents or enrolled in graduate business or
management program at an Indiana college or university.
3. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or hold permanent resident status (proof
required).
4. Applicants must be in good academic standing (not on probationary status,
holding a grade point average above 2.0 on a scale from 0 to 4.0).
Application Procedures
1. Applicants must complete an application and three essay questions. Essay
question answers must be typed (double-spaced) and must fit in the
space provided.
2. Applicants must submit official stamped transcripts from their graduate
program, if applicable, and their matriculating undergraduate institution.
3. Applicants must submit ALL completed application materials to the Indianapolis
NBMBAA Chapter postmarked NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2008.
